Hi Ray and all,
Such a bit of irony, a bull about a sailing ship from VK2WET but be that
as it may. (;->) You set me a thinkin' an'a wonrin' about Young Endeavour
and whether she's the one that shows up in New York Harbor for Operation
Sail or maybe I have her mixed up with another. For those who don't know
it's an annual event in which sailing ships come from all over the world
making navigation impossible and giving the Coast Guard fits. (;->) It
looks good on TV but my scanner tells the tale, so many small vessels
crowd around with people taking pictures and attempting to horn in on the
event there's chaos behind the scenes. It's great though, so many ships
and so many people from all over it's a real eye popper.
