Hi Bob and all,
So where's the RUM? Here you have 15 tourists on a dead man's chest and
no rum? What kind of sailing ship is that? Again you popped my bubble,
have you ever heard of a euphamism? Of course the "crew" works but still
as compared to a real crew aboard a real ship in the old days it's as I
said, like a luxury yacht. It's all for fun and there's no fun sitting
around doing nothing so they give them a taste of sailing, rather like my
days of wilderness camping, roughing it as compared to a campground with
all the comforts of home.
Hmmm, maybe you should give a listen to the Maritime Mobile Net on 14.300
+/- and maybe have a chat with a sailor, I have and it gets interesting.
Well, propagation isn't what it was a few years ago but usable; Baja is
where they hang out this time of year so if you're lucky you'll make the
trip.
