Hi all experts.
Number of local people having bought PC's with Norton installed are now
looking for A-V software and I recomend AVG as the free version is very good
it is the -Paying- for Norton update causing them grief no matter how good.
Problem is that Norton Never completly uninstalls itself, it is splatered all
over the Registry which is a place I do like messing about with if I can
help it, remnants slow the PC and cause all sorts of problems.
Has anyone got suggestions for a Good programme to remove -ALL- the junk and
redundant files ? I have " your uninstaller " which is good but still leaves
bits of Norton / Symantec behind !!! System Mechanic helps but not fully, so
is there anything that will remove it all rather than the dred " REGEDIT " ?
Anything that will do a first class clean up job ? Suggestions please.
Best 73 from John, Sysop @ EI3DIB.#TIPP.IRL.EU
