I am quite amazed that you couldn't find any info on the POST error, it
seems,looking back 20+ years that the symptoms of the battery failure were
common knowledge.
You are quite right about everything being plug n play now, unlike 20
years ago.
However, I repeat, thank you for reminding me about it and, better still,
mentioning the size. I cobbled this PC together out of spare parts about 5
years ago and that means th battery should be ready to fail.
