Hi David and all,

"But I've not checked if those are legal in the UK."
Then your modulator may be illegal, hmmm.

"I suspect not, or those who sell them here would surely say so."
RILLY??? Those who sell illegal devices would tell you they're illegal?

Joking aside, micro power transmitters fall under FCC Part 95 and I have
a sneaky feeling Ofcom may have something similar or at least if they're
illegal there is a rule making them illegal. If for nothing but
curiosity's sake I'd take a peek but guess what, unless it is strong
enough or positioned against a common wall your neighbor can't hear it
and won't know you have it. Well, unless somebody ELSE on packet or
reading your post on the internet rats you out. (;->)

I leave you with this thought, pirate broadcasters have more audience
than legal ones, (population density wise, not overall considering
coverage area) if you've listened to them you know why. Yo ho ho and all
that rot... AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
