Hello Ian, and others, as I change the @WW topic to reflect the
many themes in the text.

Thats "ok" Ian, not to worry, as there is either a post Robbie Burns
Night and cheap haggis as stores want to move it. Here I can not
even find a Haggis, and I ran all over the place to get one, as is
like once trying to find the English Pork Pies we had in the old
country. And on the Pork Pies, here, the colonists took out the
jelly material that formed during cooking....gee I like that.

South American chips. Yes Monjuaca. It resembles a long root
< forerunner of the potatoe > and is fibreous, and nice just to
cook. Drying them out cutting and chopping them you get other
nice things. I can not remember if via the YL @WW section if
I posted the soup version or chips, or just anything else.

I would choose them over French Fries.

Here they call'em beefeater type. Yeah I remember the fish too
in Scotland. Nowadays, I guess they have all versions with chips
or French Fries. I'll have to find the UK version I think of
when I go looking for South American chips. Then you can try
it Ian. Also I look for the yellow flesh variety, as they
import here the white flesh from Costa Rica and it has been
useless. Also find a lot of it bad. It is sealed in a wax
film when imported to here. That has to be looked at and
if any of the wax is missing, usually bad.

I accept that horsemeat is being sold. No idea if I ever had
it or not, and yes cheap, but is a stable of many countrys,
religious beliefs or not.

"OK" Ian ... relax, no big deal, but really good testimony to
flying. I will have to check with the veterans here again,
if we have any left. The time hasn't been fair to them.

NO...not I. I remember MASH on TV. The TV series, by the way,
was way better then that idiot movie. My opinion on comparing the
two. Actors better, as well script.

As already mentioned Beatrix , born in Canada, but land ceded to
Holland so she would be Dutch, might have her come and visit us
more often. I hope. The tulip festival in Ottawa with the
Tulips sent by the Dutch people, always reminds us of the
connection with Holland. Might be health issues, and or ...well
for her reasons , also maybe the need of a King...I wish her well.

I think we discussed this during our 4 hour chat on Skype Ian,
and since the Royal whatever is now just a figurehead on 24/7
salary ...oh what a life. PM or President, doesn't make much
difference anymore. Sorry not a fan of Maggie or Tony. Same
today, with them all.

What about the Nimrods ? You of course know what they are ? When
they first flew my father snap a quickie in a restricted area
at the airbase where it landed here in Canada.

All out of Kippers .... aah ...so might have to just have some
usual faire, ASP...then onto the next post to comment on...of
interest.

Take care Ian. If I find that place in France, I will let you
know. Thats if I survive a flight in a Tiger Moth...oh dear
Maria isn't going to like this idea :(
