Aaah  hello again Ian ...and yes Haggis and beyond;

> Yes, Pete. I did have to eat my haggis at three sittings.

  Bet that was filling. hahahahaha

I was surprised, when we saw it here, she mentioned wanting it,
which amazed me, as I thought it was just something we liked.

I mean we are an island...and our peoples are different in many
ways from the europeans.

Yes, I wondered about Mr. Cameron and this issue, but he wants a vote
now, and is trying to set the ground rules for this big thing that
might fizzle out.

As for the Scots serving as MPs...you save on their salarys and
reduce the number of seats in Parliament, or well maybe more
representation by keeping the seats and redrawing the political
ridings map... ????

> What puzzles some people, including me is that, if Sotland goes
> completely independent, what will happen to all the scottish UK MPs ?

Fired...or Scotlands exile government in the UK...and a repeat of
history? Hmm...maybe too what I suggested above, as they might
or would have to resign and start to campaing home in Scotland to
represent their consituents in the Scot Parlianment.

> Will we have a spate of bye elections where only English and Irish
> and Welsh people can stand as MPs.

What about the Irish in the north if they reunite with Ireland and
well the Welsh too always wanted Independence as echoed here by
those who left...

You might be left with a small house of parliament in London and
that means less salaries, and ...mmmm what an interesting situation.

> I suppose it will all work out,

It will ...I say it will fizzle. Just like the Union of Canada and
the USA.

> Glad you enjoyed your haggis. Perhaps you will eat something containing
> a lot of leeks on the 1st of March and Irish stew on the 17th.

1st of March? .... no leeks ...just like lentils...off my list.
Ilove Irish stew..but then they are so related to the Scots.

> We have no real English dishes so you can forget about the 23rd of April.

What about hmmm not sure of the spelling ...but something Pork Pie?
I found a place that has them but not the jelly that is in the pie
which is like the gravey or whatever from the process.

Hey...someone will pipe up here, and say... "English Fish N Chips"
ooree dipped in batter, and ,,,,, mmmm wrapped in something like
newspaper.....aaah those good old days.
