Replying to messages from Tubby/VK4TUB and Bill/G0FMW:

The reason for needing COM ports is that I exclusively use PK-232MBX TNCs
in packet radio.

As far as I understand modern motherboards do not support the use of PCI
cards/COM ports, so how do I get round that?

If I decide to try USB-to-serial adapters, how do I access them and which
options do I set in FBB's PORT.SYS?

73, Per (LA9GG/G0DJT).
