Hi Per.
It works as an alternative but the converter is not that stable as real
serial ports.
I would sugest to get a pci serial card.
This works great.
You can get one from china for about 15 dollar or so.
A converter costs here about 15 euro so the pci card is cheaper.
For bbs/node reals com ports are better/more stable.
