Hi.
I'm used to serial ports between the PC and TNCs.
In new/modern PCs (one of which I'm shortly planning to acquire) it seems
that serial ports are not in much use.
Instead serial-to-USB converters are suggested.
It would interesting to hear what experience you might have with such
converters, and if there are any problems operating them with WinFBB's
port.sys.
