Hi All Sysops and others
Has anybody come up with interface software for FBB that talks multiport
to an Ethernet network card on the PC. Something in the 192.168 series of
addresses.
If there is such a thing I will have a go at building up a general purpose
interface to a tnc that just lives on the network. I think you can buy
Ethernet to serial adaptors but it will be more fund to build one.
My reason for this is the lack of serial ports on modern computers and it
seems a nice way to go. I need to open a port on a couple of extra bands
and my old clunker pc that FBB runs on has only one serial port.
