Hello,
I am trying to get my PTC2 to scan using my Yaesu FT920 using WinFBB.
Under DOS it was faultless.
Using the same INITTNC1.SYS file it selects the appropriate radio memory
and commands the radio onto the correct frequency for a forwarding
connection. However it does not scan.
The CAT indicator in the radio display blinks on as if it is sending a
new memory channel to the radio but the memory channel does not change.

My conclusion is that windows is somehow corrupting the data being sent
when scanning but not when selecting a memory to call a station.

I have attached my INITTNC1.SYS file.

Has anyone else seen this problem ?

I have just realised that I have worded the previous email uncorrectly.
I have changed it below.
Hello,
I am trying to get my PTC2 to scan using my Yaesu FT920 using
WinFBB.
Under DOS it was faultless.
Using the same INITTNC1.SYS file it selects the appropriate radio memory
and commands the radio onto the correct frequency for a forwarding
connection.
It appears that windows sends the memory channel change from the station
forward file to the PTC2 and it in turn commands the radio to read out
the new memory channel OK.
However when not forwarding the scanning does not work.
The CAT indicator in the radio display blinks on as if the PTC2 is
sending a new memory channel to the radio but the memory channel does
not change.

My conclusion is that windows is somehow corrupting the scanning data
being sent to the PTC2 from the INITTNC1.SYS file at program start up.

I have attached my INITTNC1.SYS file.

Has anyone else seen this problem ?
