You failed to see the difference in scripts.
While I never said the old one did not work - it does - the WAY it sends
mail is not what Bernard had intended I don't believe since he makes a
shell variable called SYSOP but never calls it. It appears SP SYSOP meant
to be SP $SYSOP which is a big difference.

SP SYSOP you get a copy of mail for sysop and sp sysop mail remains even when
you kill your own copy. The way I rewrote it putting in what looked like the
variable Bernard intended to use, there are NO stragling orphaned emails to
"sysop" remaining.

Try it then comment back.
