Hi Readers,
From Tuesday evening 13th - Sunday morning 18th July the Caterham
Radio Group will be at its summer camp, using the club's long call
sign G X 0 S C R / P, from a field next to the village of SHILTON,
near BRIZE NORTON AIRBASE, 25kM West of OXFORD, ENGLAND, WAB SP20.
QRA IO91es, NGR SP269089.

There will be up to 5 operators on site so quite a bit of activity
should result.

Visitors are welcome, but please contact us first if possable.

HF
There will be will 2 HF stations at once using QRM traps on 100W
IC735 rigs & 1 with a good 400W from a Drake L-4B PA, when the
large 2.8kW generator is runing. Other rigs are also available.

Both CW, SSB will be used using..
  A 50m long wire for 160m at 14m up,
  A wire dipole for 80m from a 14m mast to a tree,
  Another wire dipole for 40m also @ 14m up to another tree,

VHF
2m will be FM/SSB using 10W/200W to an 11el horiz beam on a
lightweight 17m mast.

We will also be on Packet with a fixed 2m beam @ 8m, which should
provide live linking to the clubs GB7CIP WW chatnode on ch11, BBS
& the DX cluster network etc.
