This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
NC1L, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, Contest

CHINA, BY.  BY4JN/4 is QRV from Tianheng Island, IOTA AS-150, until
January 28.  Activity is on 80 to 15 meters using CW, and SSB.  QSL
via BG4JUU.

BAHAMAS, C6.  George, AA7JV and Tomi, HA7HY will be QRV as C6AGU
from Rum Cay, IOTA NA-001, during both the CQ WW 160 Meter CW
contest and the upcoming ARRL DX CW contest.  They are also active
before and after each contest.  QSL via operators' instructions.

AZORES, CU.  Toze, CT1GFK, Manuel, CU1CB, Goncalo, CT1GPQ, Antonio,
CU8AS and Hermann, HB9CRV will be QRV as CU8A from the Albarnaz
Lighthouse on Flores Island, IOTA EU-089, in the CQ WW 160 Meter CW
contest as a Multi/Single entry.  QSL via CT1GFK.

URUGUAY, CX.  A team of Uruguayan operators will be QRV as CW0TOP in
the CQ WW 160 Meter CW contest as a Multi-Op entry.  QSL via CX6VM.

CANARY ISLANDS, EA8.  Valery, RD3AF will be QRV as EF8M in the CQ WW
160 Meter CW contest as a Single-Op entry.  QSL via RX3DU.

HUNGARY, HA.  Special event callsign HG550REX is QRV until the end
of 2008 to commemorate ''Renaissance Year 2008'' and to remember the
ascension of the throne of the most popular king Matthias Corvinus
that occurred 550 years ago.  QSL via HA5GY.

HONDURAS, HR.  Ray, WQ7R will be QRV as HQ9R from Roatan Island,
IOTA NA-057, in the CQ WW 160 Meter CW contest.  Before and after
the contest he is active as HR9/WQ7R.  QSL both calls via K5WW.

DOMINICA, J7.   Bill, W5SJ is QRV as J79SJ until January 29 using
mostly CW.  He also plans to be an entry in the CQ WW 160 Meter CW
contest.  QSL via W5FO.

SVALBARD, JW.  Look for Maria Teresa, JW/IN3TCH and Mauro, JW/IN3SAU
to be QRV using RTTY and SSB, respectively, from the club station
JW5E on Longyearbyen, IOTA EU-026, from January 26 to February 3.

LUXEMBOURG, LX.  Lars, DF1LON will be QRV as LX7I in the CQ WW 160
Meter CW contest as a Single-Op entry.  QSL via LX2A.

ANTARCTICA.  Mika, OH2FFP is QRV as OJ1ABOA while on an expedition
here and is on 20 meters usually around 0000z.  He is here until
mid-February.  QSL to home call.

BELGIUM, ON.  In celebration of the Millennium of the death of
Notger Prince-Eveque, the founder of the Principality of Liege,
special event callsign ON1000NOTGER is active on all HF bands using
CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK until December 31.  QSL direct via ON6DP.

CHAD, TT.  Phil, TT8PK has been QRV on 20 meters SSB around 2100 to
2200z.  QSL via F4EGS.

AUSTRALIA, VK.  Steve, VK6VZ will be active in the CQ WW 160 Meter
CW contest as a Single-Op entry.  QSL to home call.

PITCAIRN ISLAND, VP6.  Yoshi, JJ8DEN is QRV as VP6PR from Adamstown,
IOTA OC-044, until February 9.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters
using CW, RTTY and PSK.  QSL direct to home call.

SOUTH GEORGIA ISLAND, VP8.  Lars, MM0DWF will be QRV as VP8DIF from
the old whaling station Husvik from January 27 to February 28.
Activity will be on most of the HF bands during his spare time,
although 15 meters will be his main band.  QSL via DJ9ZB.

MEXICO, XE.  The Radio Club Satellite contest team will be QRV as
XE1RCS in the CQ WW 160 Meter CW contest.  QSL via operators'
instructions.

LAOS, XW.  Bruce, XW1B will be QRV in the CQ WW 160 Meter CW
contest.  QSL via E21EIC.

OPERATION APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operation is
approved for DXCC credit: Iraq, YI9QX, current operation effective
December 2007.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The CQ 160-Meter CW Contest, Locust CW
QSO Party, NCCC CW Sprint, YL-ISSB SSB QSO Party, REF CW Contest,
SARL Youth for Amateur Radio, UBA SSB DX Contest and the SPAR Winter
