Hi to all DX Hams
In February there will be a special event station set up by VK3YVG the
Yarra Valley Amateur radio Group, to acknowledge the long hours and
arduous duties performed by radio operators during the VK3 bushfire season
in February this year (2009).
A special limited edition QSL card will be issued and the callsign VI3KIAH
will only be in use for a maximum of three days.
For more information as to operating times, and frequencies go to
http://www.yarravalley.ar.org.au.
For the period of 2nd week in January 2010 until the close of the event
including on the day(s) of operation IRLP node 6414 will be monitored 24/7
locally to provide up to the minute details.
