will not be any activity from Brazil as there is no reciprocal license
between ON and PY (He states, "I can't get a PY license. Operating with
my CEPT license/PY does not seem to be fully legal."). However, Ghis
will be active from Uruguay between December 12-17th. His callsign will
be CX5NT. As this is holiday trip, he plans to be active mostly during
the local evening/night hours. So check 30m (10107 being his preferred
frequency) and 40m (CW in general) will be the best options to catch
him. QSL via ON5NT.

AA7JV and Tomi/HA7RY as TX3A before they depart for Australia on December
1st (not December 6th as reported earlier - QRT on November 30th - a delay
could happen because of WX). As of print time their log shows just under
35k QSOs. Activity has been on all HF bands but with an emphasis on the
lower bands. Modes used have been on CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via HA7RY. For
more detailed information and updates, visit their Web page at:
                               http://www.TX3A.com

ZONE 23 (Top-Band DXpedition). Peter, RX0AE, is planning a TOPBAND DX-
pedition to Zone 23 by the end of 2010 (November-December). He wants to
use the best propagation conditions and work as many DXCC entites as
possible. He states, "The expedition will require a lot of preparations.
I would like to know your opinion - is Zone 23 still on a top of Most
Wanted, and what bands is it most needed on?" You can E-mail him with
