3Y0J BOUVET ISLAND DXPEDITION PRESENTATION. Steve, W4DTA, hosted an
Association of Amateur Radio of Venezuela, Santiago de Leon de Caracas
Chapter (YV5ARV), ZOOM presentation on the Bouvet Project 2022. The 3Y0J
guest speaker was Mike Crownover, AB5EB. Please note that Mike spoke all
in English, and Steve did his best to translate the Spanish. The video
is about 1:55 long, and can be viewed on YouTube.com at:
                 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D-IGfj87NI7A

3Z15/HF150, POLAND (Special Event). Members of the Klubu Lacznosci (SP2KFQ)
are active as HF150KCH from their club station in Chojnice until November
30th. Activity is part of the diploma campaign in connection with the
150th anniversary of the first railway line in Chojnice. QSL via PZK
Bureau OT09 to SP2KFQ.

5H, TANZANIA. Vladimir "Vlad", OK2WX, will be active as 5H3WX from Michamvi
Kae, Zanzibar (AF-032), as of November 10th through December 3rd. Activity
will be on 80-10 meters using CW and SSB, with an IC-7300 into a Spiderbeam
(20-15-10m) and Delta loops for 40 and 80 meters. QSL via HA3JB.

5X, UGANDA. John Paul, KN6NNF, is currently active as 5X3Z from Kubamitwe,
and has been heard on 20/10 meters FT8. According to "The Daily DX", John
Paul can be active on 80-10 meters FT8 using a FTDX5000 into dipoles and
a hexbeam which is not up yet. John Paul is there as a missionary. Also
mentioned by TDDX is that John Paul's son (Jack) is currently waiting
for a Ugandan callsign. QSL 5X3Z via LoTW.

6O, SOMALIA. Ali, EP3CQ, is once again active as 6O1OO from Mogadishu
until sometime during the first week in December. Activity has been on
30 meters FT8/FT4. As always, his activity will be limited to his spare
time because he works for the UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS)
in Mogadishu. He informs OPDX that his activity will be on all bands
(depending on the propagation, NO 160m), mostly on 40/30/20 meters FT8,
but also on CW and SSB. Ali suggests to watch for him on after 1800-1900z
until 02400z. His rig is a FT-450D w/100 and 180 watts into a Little Tar-
heel II and SE-360. The 6O1OO station is currently the only active and
licensed Amateur Radio Station in Somalia. Ali mentioned that he will be
leaving for Christmas, but will be back again during the second week of
January. QSL direct to: Ali Solhjoo, Schnackenburgstr. 3, Berlin 12159,
Germany. QSL cards will be replied on a bi-monthly basis. IRC's are not
accepted. Ali is also looking for some kind of support to help update
his equipment. For updates, it is suggested to watch QRZ.com or Twitter
(https://twitter.com/EP3CQ).

9N, NEPAL (Update). Robert, S53R/9N7AA, posted the following on QRZ.com,
November 9th [edited]: "9N7AA license has been issued and limited oper-
ation will start soon. Equipment from my previous operation is still
stuck in Kabul and we are trying hard to bring it to Kathmandu.
I have brought two TS590SG radios and a few basic accessories in my
suitcases. A small multiband vertical has been installed temporarily
until I move to my permanent residence, where Ultra Beam/WIMO 2 element
Yagi (40-6m) will be installed at 25m+. Will still have to figure out
160/80m due to very limited space. Note that 60m band is not permitted
in Nepal. Our new residence is a high rise with a clear shot towards EU
and US. The problem in very heavy QRM, due to messy power lines and all
kinds of man-made interference, is a serious problem in densely populated
Kathmandu."
Robert also announced that he will be in the CQWW DX CW Contest (Novem-
ber 27-28th) as a Single-Op/All-Band (40/20/15/10m only) entry. QSL goes
via S57DX, direct only, and of course, LoTW and ClubLog will be updated
at least once a week. OQRS will also be enabled soon.
Please note that 9N7AA was previously issued to Andy, UA3AA. QSL for
Andy's operation in March-April 2014 goes via Andy Gromov, PO Box 873,
Brooklyn, NY 11230, USA.

C9, MOZAMBIQUE. YL Elvira, IV3FSG, will once again be active as C92R from
Mozambique between now and November 30th. Usually, her activity will be
limited to her spare time on 80-10 meters using SSB, RTTY and PSK31. She
will probably be there working on a project for the Informatici Senza
Frontiere ONLUS. She will be looking for some financial support (see
QRZ.com). QSL via IK2DUW, direct, by the Bureau or ClubLog.

D6, COMOROS. Don, N6ZO, will once again be active as D60AB from Comoros
Islands (AF-007) between November 22-29th. Activity will be on various
HF bands using CW and SSB. He will also participate in the CQWW DX CW
Contest (November 27-28th). QSL via his home callsign.

DT8, SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Lee, DS4NMJ, part of a scientific team,
continues to be very active from the King Se-Jong Korean Antarctic Base
on King George Island (AN-010), South Shetlands (VP8/SH), as DT8A until
December 31st. Activity will be on various HF bands using CW, SSB and
FT8, with 100 watts. He has been heard on 80/40/20 meters using mainly
FT8 (F/H) at various times, also on CW. QSL via DS5TOS.

E5, SOUTH COOK ISLANDS. Pete, ZL4TE, is expected to be active as E51RMP
from South Cook Islands starting sometime in mid-January for approx 10
days (per DX-World.net). Main activity will be from Rarotonga (OC-013),
with a possibility of a side-trip to Aitutaki (OC-083). Activity is
usually holiday style, QRP on various HF bands and some VHF Digimodes
using CW and SSB with a Yaesu FT817. QSL via his home callsign.

E7, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA. Look for special event station E7BOSNIA to
be active from the three royal cities of Bobovac, Visoko and Jajce, to
celebrate the "Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina[BiH]" (November
25th), between November 14-28th. Activity will be on 160-10 meters using
CW, SSB and FT8. QSL via E73Y. A special "ROYAL CITIES OF BIH" diploma
will be available, see (https://www.qrz.com/db/E7BOSNIA) for more details.

FH, MAYOTTE. Don, K6ZO, will be active as FH/K6ZO from Mayotte Islands
(AF-027) between November 15-22nd. Activity will be on various HF bands,
using CW and SSB. QSL via K6ZO.

FJ, ST. BARTHELEMY (Reminder). Dario, KP4DO, will be active as FJ/KP4DO
from Gustavia, St. Barthelemy (NA-146) between November 19-24th. Activity
will be on 40/20/17/10 meters, but mostly on 20 meters, depending on the
propagation. QSL via KP4DO direct. A special QSL card is being designed.

FS, ST. MARTIN. Philip, K0CD, will be active as FS/K0CD from St. Martin
Island (NA-105) during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 27-28th), as a
Single-Op/QRP-Power/Single-Band (40 or 20m) entry. Look for him to pos-
sibly be on the air the Thursday or Friday before the contest. QSL via
K0CD.
