TL8DV - Central African Republic - Postponed.
Those of you waiting for TL8DV to be active in April and May now have a
chance to develop your quality of patience. We just found out yesterday
that our originally planned April - May 2008 trip to the Central African
Republic has been scratched. It is a long story and one I can't go into
on e-mail or web sites, but the bottom line is we will not be there. I
will discuss some of the details when I make my TL8DV presentation this
weekend in Lafayette. It appears as though this is a long term
postponement, not a cancellation. As plans develop for our future trip
to TL8, I will of course let you know. Jean and I are disappointed in
this turn of events but there is nothing we can do about it. More to
follow - W1DV [NG3K]
