FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ZL7, CHATHAM ISLANDS (Update). Gary, ZL2IFB, Webmaster for ZL7T.com,
informs OPDX (edited): "ZL7T is QRV from 160 to 15m inclusive to date.
They have a slow and unreliable Internet connection but successfully
uploaded their log yesterday and anticipate another two log updates
before they close down on March 10th. There is a log search function
on the Web site along with a blog page with the latest news from the
team. They have reported big pileups but gratifyingly courteous ones.
I am collating ZL7T spots to give a 'near real time' indication of the
actual propagation on the site, supplementing the predictions made before
they departed to the ZL mainland, and some spectrum displays and captured
audio so visitors can experience what it's like to be on the receiving
end of a pileup at least 37 callers deep!" The ZL7T Web page is at:
                                http://www.zl7t.com
