Look for OH0/PA0VHA (Hans), OH0/PA3BAG (Jack), OH0/PA2A (Steve),
OH0/PA2AM (Wim), OH0/PA3ALK (Wil) and OH0/PB5A (Teun) to be active from
the Aland Islands (EU-002) from 24 May to 6 June. They plan to operate
SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK31 on 160-6 metres with three stations and a
special emphasis on 30, 17 and 12 metres. They will also participate in
the CQ WW WPX CW Contest. RIG on 50 MHz: FT-857 + Switching PSU + Laptop
PC + Writelog and 3el Yagi

LATEST NEWS from Bernhard and Hermann at H44, dated 2008-03-08:
Bernhard did get qrv meantime on HF. Parts from the EME RIG are still
not available at H4 and as well from DL, Joachim, DL9MS, was not able to
help anymore at our airports. Next steps at the airport of H4 can be
only done coming monday. It looks not very good for EME and so dont
expect them via Moon in next days...

DA0HEL and DL0IH qrv from JO34WE Island of Helgoland A group of 40
amateurs is qrv on HF (until tuesday 11st) and VHF as DA0HEL and DL0IH.
RIG on VHF: FT897 2x 9ele Tonna and Ampl. As well they are in parallel

This summer, Gerd DL2SB will again be QRV as OH5SB/mm on the way to (and
back) to the summer QTH in Finland. Now in current Finnish regulations,
mobile operation on 6m is allowed. So instead of 2m SSB, this year 6m
SSB will be activated in the water squares (if the captain gives his
OK). Trip from Germany to Finland: Sun, July 13th Trip back from Finland
to Germany: Saturday, August 9th, 2008. Btw. those dates, activity in
Finland from the summer QTH KP31MC.

Bodo DL3OCH is planning some 23cm dxpedition activities in March. DJ9YW
has fixed my transverter, so I can be QRV again - tnx Henrich. I will be
active on 14 March from 2000 to 2200 as HA/DL3OCH in JN87pu, on 15 March
1300 to 1400 as HA/DL3OCH in JN86st, and on 22 March 0100 to 0200 as
3A/DL3OCH in JN33rr. At all locations I will operate on 1296.090 on
JT65C and will always TX first... More details:

LATEST NEWS from Hal, ZS6WB, dated 2008-03-08 abt RW1ZC/MM: Alex reports
that the ship is now in KF25, tropo conditions have been good and he has
been operating quite a bit on 144.400 FM. On Friday he contacted several
Division 2 stations including Glenn, ZS2GK over a distance of 520 km.
Construction on his 50 MHz antenna is progressing and he is planning to
be active during the VHF contest next weekend on both 50 & 144 MHz. This
weekend he can be expected to be active on 144.250 FSK441 as well as on
FM & SSB on 144.400 & 144.200.

The Club Radio Amateur de Quebec has been granted permission to operate
as VC2VQ on 1-30 April to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the
foundation of Quebec City. QSL via bureau to VE2CQ. Also, all amateur
radio operators in the Province of Quebec have been authorized to use
special prefixesLook for VA2 stations to use VG2, and VE2 stations to
use VX2.

Cezar, VE3LYC and Ken, G3OCA will be active as VE3LYC/VO2 and VO2/G3OCA
from two most wanted IOTA groups this summer. Expect them to operate
from Finger Hill Island (NA-194) and Paul Island (NA-205) between 30
July and 4 August. They intend to be QRV for three days from each
island, with two stations on the air from 6 to 40 metres, CW and SSB.
