                          Edited by I1JQJ & IK1ADH
                        Direttore Responsabile I2VGW

3X - Silvano, I2YSB and the Italian DXpedition Team will operate as
3XY1T from the Los Islands (AF-051), Guinea in February 2016
(actual dates TBA). They will operate CW, SSB and RTTY on 160-6
metres; a needed band/mode survey to help the team planning their
activity can be found at http://www.i2ysb.com/idt/. [TNX IK7JWY]
9A - Mario, DJ2MX will be active as 9A4MX/p from "various Croatian
islands" (some of them valid for IOTA group EU-110) between 24
August and 2 September. QSL via DJ2MX, direct o bureau. [TNX DX
         Newsletter]
9J - Peter, 9J2HN will be active as 9J2JOCV from Lusaka, Zambia until
31 December to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Japan
Overseas Cooperation Volunteers programme. QSL via JL1IHE, direct
         only.
CO - The T46BC team [425DXN 1266] will be active from Cayo Santa Maria
(NA-204) on 22-25 August. QSL direct to IZ1GDB (maildrop). [TNX
         IZ1GDB]
CP - Once again Antonio, EA5RM will be working on a non-governmental
organization's project in Bolivia between 29 August and 15
September. He will be QRV as CP1XRM in his limited spare time with
a 100-watt solar-powered station and a vertical antenna. QSL via
         EA5RM. [TNX DX Coffee]
E6 - All logistics arrangements are now complete for the E6GG operation
from Niue (OC-040) on 16-29 September [425DXN 1259]. All antennas
are complete and tested, as are all the stations and computing
equipment. The team expects some limited operation from 15
September, with all stations operational on the 16th. There will
be four complete high power stations, which will be using antennas
at the water's edge and cliff-top optimised for low angle high
gain. They will also use a beverage directed to Europe for LF
receiving. For RTTY they will deploy multi-channel receive, so
your best chance of an early RTTY QSO is to choose a calling
frequency and stay on that frequency until the team finds you.
RTTY is likely to be only on a maximum of two bands. The website
(www.e6gg.com) includes a propagation analysis. The team will be
listening exclusively for Europe during the relatively short
European openings on LF. Plans are to upload logs daily to Club
Log and LoTW. QSL via G3TXF (please use the OQRS provided by Club
Log for both direct and bureau cards). [TNX G3BJ]
FO - Heinz, DF1YP will be active holiday style as FO/DF1YP from Moorea
(OC-046), French Polynesia from 5 September to 1 October. QSL via
home call, bureau preferred. Logsearch on http://DF1YP.darc.de.
GM - Due to forecast high winds this coming weekend, the GS8VL team
have decided to cancel their 21-23 August expedition [425DXN 1267]
to the Shiant Islands (EU-112). [TNX DX world]
I - ARI San Benedetto del Tronto will be active as IQ6SB/p from the
lighthouse at Punta Penna on 23 August. They will operate SSB and
CW starting around 7 UTC. [TNX IK6XEJ]
LU - The 13-18 August LU4AA/D operation from Martin Garcia (SA-055)
[425DXN 1263] did not take place because of bad weather
conditions. It has been rescheduled and the new dates are 1-4
October. QSL via LU4AA, direct or bureau. [TNX rsgbiota.org]
TA - A large group of operators will be active as TC30AZB between 28
August and 4 September. The special callsign commemorates Turkey's
Victory Day, celebrated each year on 30 August. QSL via LoTW and
eQSL only, paper cards will not be issued. [TNX TA1HZ]
UA - The RT9K/0 team (RA0ZJ, RA9LR, RW0BG, UA0ZC, UA0ZFW, UA9KAM, UA9KB
and UA9KDF) travelled to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on 19 August
[425DXN 1238]. There is still a 1,500-kilometre voyage before they
reach Dobrzhanskogo Island (AS-203, new one for IOTA). The ship
(the "Anatoliy Krasheninnikov") is due to leave on 23 August, and
the voyage could take 5-6 days or more, as progress depends on
weather and sea conditions. RT9K/0 is expected to be QRV for about
one week, with three stations on 40-10 metres CW, SSB and digital
modes. QSL via RX9KM (logsearch and OQRS for RT9K/0 on Club Log).
On their way back they are likely to stop and be QRV from
Kambal'nyy Island (AS-142). Updates are posted by the pilots to

locations are Cambridge Bay (Victoria Island, NA-006), Taolyoak
(mainland) and Hall Beach (mainland). He will operate SSB on
various bands. QSL direct to VE4GIL. [TNX DX World]
