9H - Members of the Gozo Amateur Radio Society will be active as
9H9GRS/p from Santa Marija Bay on the island of Comino, Malta
(EU-023) on 27-28 June. They plan to have five stations active on
80-4 metres, plus some 2m and UHF. QSL via bureau.
CO - CO2LCR and a large group of operators will be active as T41C from
the lighthouse on Cayo Jutias (NA-093) on 15-16 August during the
International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. They will be QRV on
all bands CW, SSB and digital modes. QSL via N2OO. [TNX CO2LCR]
EI - Olivier, ON4EI will be active again as EI8GQB from Ireland on 4-13
July using an hybrid wind-solar power system from his caravan. He
will participate in the IARU HF World Championship as EI1A. QSL

FR - Celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Reseau des Emetteurs
Francais (REF, France's national IARU society), Mario, FR4QT will
be active as TO90R from Reunion Island (AF-016) on 27-28 June and
again in July (11-12 and 14), October (24-25) and December (12-13,
19-20 and 26). QSL via FR4QT.
G - The Durham and District Amateur Radio Society will take part in
the "13 Colonies Special Event" [425DXN 1258] with the call
GB13COL as a bonus station. Activity will start on 30 June at 13
UTC and end on 6 July at 4 UTC. QSL via G0VLF, direct or bureau.

HC8 - Geoff, G8OFQ will be working again as a volunteer at the Giant
Tortoise Breeding Center on Isabela Island, Galapagos (SA-004)
from 1 July to 30 September. He will be QRV as HC8/G8OFQ on 160-6
metres during his spare time, indicatively between 21 and 5 UTC.

HH - Terry, K7TD will be visiting Haiti on 3-13 July and plans to be
active holiday style as HH2TD from various locations. He will
operate mainly CW with a focus on 30, 17 and 12 metres. QSL via

I - IT9AGZ will be active holiday style from Levanzo (EU-054), Egadi
Islands (IF9) on 4-17 July. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.

JW - Martin G3ZAY, Dom M0BLF, Hugo M0HSW, Tom M0TJH, Rob M0VFC and
Gavin M1BXF will be active as JW/homecalls from the JW5E shack in
Longyearbyen (EU-026), Svalbard on 10-17 July. They will arrive
late in the evening of the 10th, and depart very early in the
morning of the 17th. They will operate SSB and CW on 40-10 metres,
and maybe some 6m if conditions allow. QSL via home calls, direct
or bureau (please refrain from sending paper cards, and use Club
Log's OQRS instead).
KH5 - The DXpedition to Cooper Island, Palmyra Atoll (OC-085) has been
confirmed to take place on 11-26 January 2016 [425DXN 1251]. A
team of Twelve highly experienced operators and veterans of many
DXpeditions (K0IR, K4UEE, K6MM, K9CT, K9NW, N2TU, N9TK, ND2T,
W0GJ, W3OA, W8HC and WB9Z) will be active with five stations on
160-6 metres CW, SSB and digital modes, using a call sign to be
announced at a later date. Most of the equipment (antennas, coax,
wire, connectors, and site material) has already been purchased,
tested and shipped to Palmyra. It is estimated this DXpedition
will incur costs of over 200,000 USD (plus individual and personal
expenses). Support has been already received from many
Foundations, Clubs and individuals, but on 25 June the team
reported to be "about 30,000 USD short of our need for the next
payment November 1st. So please donate as soon as possible to help

OZ/DL9MWG from Bornholm Island (EU-030) on 4-11 July. QSL via home

OZ - Dieter, DF2SD will be active holiday style as OZ/DF2SD from Fano
Island (EU-125) on 4-18 July. He will operate SSB and RTTY on 40-6

PY - Joselito PS8BR, Milton PS8HF and Nelson PS8NF will be active as
ZW8K from Ilha Grande de Santa Isabel (SA-025) on 23-26 July,

S5 - Radio Club "KRN" Kobarid (S59DAJ) will operate special station
S5100WW from 1 July to 31 August to commemorate the 100th
anniversary of the Isonzo Front Battles during World War I. QSL

SM - Anders, SM5EFX will be QRV as SF2X/p from Ledskar Island (EU-135)
on 1-31 July. This will be a "sporadic activation", with main
activity to take place during the IOTA Contest. QSL via SM5EFX,

SV - Gabor, HA1YA will be active as SW8YA from the islands of Thasos
(EU-174, WWL KN20hs) on 2-13 July and Samothraki (EU-174, WWL
KN20sm) on 13-22 July. He will focus on 2 metres (tropo, ES, MS
and EME), with activity also on the HF bands, 6m amd 70 cm. QSL

SV9 - Goran, S55OO will be active as SV9/S55OO from Crete (EU-015) on
8-19 July. Hw ill operate holiday style on 40-6 metres CW, SSB and

IOTA TOUR ---> Jean-Pierre, F6CTF was active as ES0/F6CTF from Hiiumaa
(EU-034) on 20-22 June. His current tour in northern Europe includes
activities from OH0, the Aland Islands (EU-002), on 28-30 June, followed by
SI9AM (mainland Sweden, QSL via SM3TIR) on 2-3 July. He will then go to
Norway and operate from Mageroya (EU-044) on 8-10 July, Senja (EU-046) on
13-14 July, the Lofoten Islands (EU-076) on 16 July and Godoya (EU-056) on

information is derived from QSOs uploaded to Club Log (as of 23 June there
were 298.8 million log entries available for analysis) and, to improve
quality, only QSOs that have QSLs confirmed are considered to be worked.
DXCC NEWS ---> Sharon Taratula, Awards Manager at the ARRL Radiosport
Department, provides a list of "recent DXCC approvals": 5J0B (2015), 9N7JX

POSTAL RATES (USA) ---> Effective 31 May, the U.S. Postal Service
