         Azerbaijan from 26 November to 2 December. He will operate CW  only

4S     - Peter, DC0KK is  again  in  Sri  Lanka  until  10  April  2015.  He

8Q     - Ural Contest Group members R9DX, UA8DX and UA9CDC  will  be  active
         again as 8Q7DV from South Ari Atoll, Maldives (AS-013)  between  22

9M6    - Once again Saty, JE1JKL  will  participate  in  the  CQ  WW  DX  CW
         Contest as 9M6NA  (SOAB  HP)  from  Labuan  Island  (OC-133),  East

9N     - JN1THL as 9N7KT and JA8RUZ  as  9N7RZ  are  active  from  Nagarkot,
         Nepal until 9 November. With them is JA8BMK, who will be active  as

C5     - The operators for the 16-26 January C5X DXpedition  to  the  Gambia
         [425DXN 1219] now include G3VMW, G3XAQ, M0PCB and  Don  G3XTT,  who
         has replaced M0DXR. Due to the LF/HF band QRM levels at  the  Radio
         Syd site, the operation has been relocated to a  new  site  on  the
         coast  at  Brufut.  Plans  are  to  have  two  high-power  stations
         operating CW, SSB, RTTY and some PSK  on  160-10  metres.  "We  are
         aware of the likelihood that the  K1N  Navassa  operation  will  be
         running at around the same time as C5X", the  team  says,  "and  we
         will make every effort to stay well  clear  of  their  pile-ups  if

C6     - Steve, KG4LJB will be active holiday style as C6AJB from  Eleuthera
         (NA-001), Bahamas  on  8-15  November.  He  will  be  QRV  as  time
         permits, mainly during his evening and  early  morning  hours.  QSL

C6     - John, 9H5G (KK4OYJ) will return to the Bahamas from  late  November
         through the end of April 2015. This year he will operate as  C6ATS,
         with activity on 17, 15, 12, 10 and and maybe 20 metres  from  IOTA
         groups NA-001 (Great Bahama Bank), NA-113 (South  Bahamas),  NA-054
         (Berry  Islands)  and  NA-048  (Bimini  Islands).  QSL  via   NI5DX

CE0Z   - Felipe, CE5WQO will be active holiday style as CE0Z/CE5WQO  [425DXN
         1223] from Juan Fernandez (SA-005) from 23 November to 2  December.

D4     - Fran,  EA7FTR  will  be  active  again  as  D44KS  from  Boa  Vista
         (AF-086), Cape Verde from 9 November to 5 December.  In  his  spare
         time he will operate SSB and RTTY on 40-6  metres. QSL  via  EB7DX.

EP     - The website for the January 2015 EP6T  DXpedition  to  Kish  Island
         (AS-166), Iran is up and running at www.rockall.be.  The  operating
         team (ON4AHF, ON4AMX, ON4BR, ON4HIL, ON4IA,  ON6CC,  ON6DX,  ON7RU,
         PA3EWP and SV1DPI) will fly to Teheran on 15 January; plans are  to
         have four or five stations QRV 24/7 on 160-10 metres  CW,  SSB  and
         RTTY for two weeks. QSL via M0URX (OQRS  preferred);  the  complete
         log will be uploaded to LoTW immediately after the expedition.
FK     - Nobuaki,  JA0JHQ  (http://pandasan.jimdo.com)  will  be  active  as
         FK/JA0JHQ from Noumea, New Caledonia (OC-032)  on  21-23  November.
         He will operate mainly SSB  on  80,  40,  20,  15  and  10  metres;
         activity on 17 and 12 metres will depend on local  conditions.  QSL
         via home call, direct or bureau.
FM     - Dmitrij, UT5UGR (KL7WA) will be active  again  as  from  Martinique
         (NA-107) between 24 November and 1 December.  He  will  participate
         in the CQ  WW  DX  CW  Contest  as  TO7A.  QSLs  via  UT5UGR  (OQRS

FO     - Philippe, FO4BM will be  active  from  Mangareva  (OC-063),  French
         Polynesia on 12-24 November. He  will  be  QRV  as  either  FO4BM/p
         and/or FO8AA/p  (celebrating  the  80th  anniversary  of  the  Club
         Oceanien de Radio  et  Astronomie,  see  www.cora-tahiti.net).  See

FO/M   - W6TLD, JI1JKW and JI1WTF will operate as  FO/W6TLD,  FO/JI1JKW  and
         FO/JI1WTF  from  Hiva-oa,  Marquesas  Islands  (OC-027)  on   16-21
         November. They plan to be QRV on 40-6 metres (beacon on 50105  kHz)
         SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK31. QSL via  home  calls,  direct  or  bureau.

FS     - John, K9EL tweeted he will be  active  again  as  FS/K9EL  from  St
         Martin (NA-105) from 19 November to 2 December. This  will  include
         a "casual entry" in the CQ WW DX CW Contest.  QSL  via  home  call,
         direct or bureau (OQRS on Club Log), and LoTW.
FT/T   - FT4TA's Chief Pilot (MM0NDX) reports that the team will be  leaving
         Tromelin Island "on Monday  morning  at  0900",  which  means  that
         "station tear down starts on Sunday 9 November".  The  latest  Club
         Log update (5 November at 15:22 UTC) shows 45,317 QSOs with  13,004
         unique calls. All of them have been already uploaded to LoTW!
JW     - Svein, LA9JKA will be active  again  as  JW9JKA  from  Bear  Island
         (EU-027), Svalbard until April 2015. He  will  be  QRV  on  the  HF
         bands and 6 metres in his spare time. QSL direct  only  to  LA9JKA.

KH8    - Masa, JH3PRR will be active again as KH8B from Pago Pago  (OC-045),
         American Samoa from 25 November to 1 December, including  an  entry
         in the CQ WW DX CW Contest. Outside the contest he will be  QRV  on
         160 metres only, at his  sunrise  (around  16.45  UTC)  and  sunset

OX     - Bo, OZ1DJJ will be active as OX3LX from Disko Island (NA-134)  from

PJ2    - Joeke, PA0VDV will  be  active again  as  PJ2/PA0VDV  from  Curacao
         (SA-099) from 20 November to 26 December. He will operate CW  only,
         but will not take part in the CQ WW DX CW  Contest.  QSL  via  home

T8     - JA3JND will be QRV as T88ON from Palau (OC-009) on  7-11  November.
         He will operate CW, SSB, RTTY and JT65 on 40-10 metres, and on  8-9
         November he will be active in the WAE DX  Contest  (RTTY)  and  the
         Japan International DX Contest (SSB). QSL  via  JA3JND,  direct  or

TA     - Once again the Balkan Contest Club will participate in  the  CQ  WW
         DX CW Contest as TC0A  (QSL  via  LZ1NK  and  LoTW)  from  Bozcaada
         (AS-099). The team will  include  LZ1CNN,  LZ1DCW,  LZ1MBU,  LZ1NK,
         LZ2UW, LZ3FN, LZ3ND, LZ3YY, TA2TX and TA3D;  they  will  be  active
         (presumably as TA0/homecall for the LZs,  and  homecall/0  for  the
         TAs) from 23 November to 1 December. [TNX NG3K]
V4     - Andy, N2NT will be active as V47NT from St Kitts  (NA-104)  between
         19 November and 1 December. He will operate CW and  SSB,  and  will
         participate in the CQ WW DX CW Contest  as  V47T.  QSLs  via  W2RQ.

V6     - JE1HXZ will be active as V63XZ from  Pohnpei  (OC-010),  Micronesia
         on 11-16 November. He will operate CW and SSB on 40-6  metres.  QSL

VK9L   - The original plan [425DXN 1226] was for Robert, SP5XVY to  stay  on
         Lord Howe Island until 8 November to do some more  RTTY  operation.
         However he had to depart for home  for  business  reasons,  so  the
         last man on the island is Joe, DF7TH. He  has  extended  his  stay,
         and as time permits he will operate VK9DLX mainly CW on 30, 17,  12
         and 10 metres until 10 November. "By now we have over 115,000  QSOs
         with over 28,000 unique callsigns", it was reported on 7  November.
         More than 11,000 QSO  totalling  23,582,880  points  were  made  by
         VK9LM during the CQ WW DX SSB Contest as a  Multi-Multi  operation.
         The VK9LM log will be  uploaded  to  Club  Log  together  with  the
         complete log of VK9DLX after the end  of  the  operation.  At  that
         time the OQRS will be enabled.
VP2E   - Masa K1GI (JN3NFQ), Kei KG2A (JJ1RJR) and Aki AF6WX  (JK1PIU)  will
         be active as VP2EIM,  VP2ERJ  and  VP2EWX  from  Anguilla  (NA-022)
         between 22 and 30 November. They will operate SSB, CW and  RTTY  on

VP8    - Once again Mike, GM0HCQ is active from onboard the  Royal  Research
         Ship "James Clark Ross". Whilst in Antarctic and  Falkland  Islands
         waters he uses the call VP8CMH/mm,  at  all  other  times  he  uses
         GM0HCQ/mm. The ship is due to arrive at King  Edward  Point,  South
         Georgia (AN-007) on 30 November and depart on 2 December, and  Mike
         might be able to go ashore and operate  CW  and/or  SSB  as  VP8SGK
         (not before 20.30 UTC, as his working day finishes at 20  UTC).  He
         might also get the chance to operate as VP8ROT  from  Rothera  Base
         on Adelaide Island (AN-001), Antarctica between 27 and 31  December
         and again between 8 and 11 January 2015. All dates are  subject  to
         change. QSL for all callsigns via GM0HCQ (direct  only),  LoTW  and

VU     - Rajesh, VU2EXP will be active as  AT1JCB  from  21  November  to  9
         December to celebrate the birthdate of Indian physicist  and  radio
         pioneer Jagadish Chandra Bose. He will operate only  digital  modes
         on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres. QSL via  VU2EXP  (direct  only),  LoTW
         and eQSL.
VU4    - VU4CB is the callsign being used (issued at the last moment  as  an
         "unexpected but very welcome development") by Krish VU2VKU  (W4VKU)
         and Pai VU2PAI from Campbell Bay, Great  Nicobar  Island  (AS-033).
         According to Deepak, VU2CDP "they should be on until  at  least  12
         November". As they concentrate on giving this rare  IOTA  group  to
         as many island chasers as possible,  they  "will  try  to  maximise
         QSOs on traditional bands unless prop dictates  a  move  to  WARC".
         The  larger  16-30  November  VU4KV  operation  from  the  Andamans
         (AS-001) [425DXN 1226] "will cater  to  all  DXCC  needs  of  DXers

W      - Once again Joe, K5KUA will be  active  as  K5KUA/5  from  Galveston
         Island (NA-143) on 14-16 November. Usually he operates CW  only  on

YB     - Special event station  YB42SEA  will  be  activated  for  the  42nd
         SEANET Convention (http://orari.or.id/seanet2014/), to be  held  on
         the island of Bali (OC-022) on 14-17 November.  Two  stations  will
         be active on 80, 40, 20, 15 and  10  metres  CW,  SSB  and  digital
         modes. All of the QSOs will  be  confirmed  automatically  via  the

YN     - Mike, AJ9C will be active as YN2CC from Nicaragua from 25  November
         to 3 December, including an entry in  the  CQ  WW  DX  CW  Contest.
         Outside the contest he will operate  CW,  SSB  and  RTTY  on  160-6

XT     - Harald, DF2WO will be active holiday style as  XT2AW  from  Burkina
         Faso from 18 November to 5 December. He will operate SSB and CW  on

FOCUS 25 ---> To celebrate 25 years of the FOC's quarterly  magazine  FOCUS,
