Hi Readers,
From Tuesday evening 8th - Sunday morning 13th July the Caterham Radio
Group will be at its summer camp, using the club's long call sign
G X 0 S C R / P, from a field next to the village of SHILTON,
near BRIZE NORTON AIRBASE, 25kM West of OXFORD, ENGLAND, WAB SP20.
QRA IO91es, NGR SP269089.

There will be up to 7 operators on site so quite a bit of activity
should result.

Visitors are welcome, but please contact us first if possable.

HF
There will be will 2 HF bands at once using QRM traps on 100W IC735
rigs & with a good 400W from a Drake L-4B PA on one of them, when
the large 2.8kW generator is runing. Other rigs are aslo available.

Both CW, SSB will be used using..
  A 100m long wire for 160m at 17m up,
  A wire dipole for 80m from a 14m mast to a tree,
  Another wire dipole for 40m also @ 14m up to a tall pole,
  And a QRO 3el beam for 20/15/10m @ 15m,

VHF
6M will be in FM/SSB/CW with 50W into a 5el beam @ 16m above the
tribander.

2M will be FM/SSB using 10W/200W to an 11el beam @ 18m.

We will also be on Packet with a fixed beam 2m @ 8m, which should
provide live linking to the clubs GB7CIP WW chatnode on ch11, & the
DX cluster network etc.
