setting up his Elecraft K3 and DIY antennas, probably verticals or dipoles,

C6, BAHAMAS (Update to OPDX.1056). MDXC C6AGW PRESS RELEASE #2 (TESTING
IN THE RAIN) [edited]: "During the [past] weekend, under the Italian rains
(cats and dogs raining, hi), Gabriele, I2VGW, has tested all the antennas
and the equipments for his Bahamas round trip. As announced, he plans to
be operating as C6AGW starting April 26th through May 6th from Biminis
Islands (NA-048) and/or Berry Islands (NA-054) quite rare IOTA references
and, of course, also from New Providence and Long Island, Great Bahama
Bank (NA-001). Following also the requests of many lighthouses chasers,
Gabriele would like to confirm that all these references will be printed
on his QSL card. That's meaning: New Providence (main) Island is LH 1115
and NA-001; Long Island is LH 1898 and NA-001; Bimini Island (South) is
LH 2467 and NA-048; and Berry Island (Gr. Stirrup Cay) is LH 1903 and
NA-054. We remind you that this new Gabriele adventure will be a holiday
style operation. In any case Gabriele, as usual, will give great emphasis
to the Digital modes and the WARC bands, but he'll keep in his mind SSB
too. He'll take with him his Icom 7200, a Hampole, a KW5 and a Buddipole.
For more info and any updates, visit the DXpedition's Web site at:
                          http://www.mdxc.org/c6agw
Gabriele will be supported by the MDXC with an online log, news in real-
time, pictures and videos."

"I need to replace the feedline for the the 40/80m antenna, but up and

350th anniversary of Ivano-Frankivsk City [1662-2012]. Operations will
be on all HF bands and 6 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. QSL

IOTA Islands: Tahiti (OC-046), Moorea (OC-046), Raiatea (OC-067), Huaine

direct (1 IRC or 2 USDs) or by the Bureau.

GM, SCOTLAND (IOTA/SCOTIA Op!). Andre, GM3VLB, will once again try to
activate some of the SCOTIA islands (SCOTtish Island Award) he missed
last year in the Orkney IOTA Group (EU-009, SCOTIA OI14). He states,
"In the hope of completing what I now call the 'SCOTIA Challenge', which
in my own case means activating the last five of the program's 200 islands
which I haven't yet activated, I am returning to the Orkney (EU-009) group,
arriving there May 21st. I have a return booking on June 7th, but I am
prepared to remain in EU-009 longer, if necessary. Having been dogged by
high winds in late summer/early autumn on previous expeditions to the
Northern Isles, I am trying the earlier part of 'activating season' this
time. The 5 remaining islands are Muckle Green Holm (OI20), Linga Holm
(OI21), Eynhallow (OI24), Faray (OI28) and Calf of Eday (OI29). Some are
quite difficult to approach and to land on (steep rocky shores) as well
as being subject to very strong tidal current (the waters off Eday are
in fact the chosen location for testing the latest tidal generators, so
near-perfect weather conditions will be required. I believe most may be
first-time activations. This will be a 'solo' operation (XYL Veronica
having decided discretion was the better part of valour!). If successful,
I hope to continue activating islands, this season, in a more relaxed
way, hopefully teaming up with regular 'island buddy' Alex, G(M)0DHZ, to
re-activate some less remote islands, which even some of the high-scoring
SCOTIA chasers may have missed - I will be doing an analysis of the records
to determine the 'most wanted'."

HB0, LIECHTENSTEIN. Operators Nicola/IN3ADW and Luca/IN3HUU will be
active as HB0/homecall from Liechtenstein between May 8-12th. Activity
will be mainly on 40/20/17/12 meters, as well as 15/10 meters propaga-
tion permitting, using SSB and some RTTY. Suggested frequencies are:
7110-7130, 18125-18135, 14215-14225 and 24945-24955 kHz. QSL via their
home callsigns.

E51M QSL STATUS. As of April 19th, the QSL cards are ready to send.
The Online QSL Request Service (OQRS) is now available online at:

AT2DW QSL STATUS. It was reported that the AT2DW QSOs were uploaded to
LoTW on April 20th. The QSL cards have been printed and shipped by
Gennady, UX5UO, and should reach the QSL Manager Sarla, VU2SWS, within
the next few days. Snail-mail posting of cards would begin soon after.
Meanwhile, if there are still any cases of busted or missing QSOs,
  please inform Sarla at: sarla.yl@gmail.com
The searchable log for the Bet Shankhodhar Island operation can be

ST. PETER & ST. PAUL ROCKS LOGS (Update). Cesar, PY2YP, continues to
obtain logs for St. Peter & St. Paul Rocks DXpeditions from the operators
and uploads them into LoTW. This week he informs OPDX, "Just uploaded
to the LoTW a portion of the 1991 PY0SR operation." He also mentions,
"I've received ZY0SA and ZY0SB logs from 1987 operation, and just
waiting for PW0PP and PY1RO from the 1978 operation; the latter ones
have already been mailed. These 2 DXpeditions are quite interesting
for the low band DXers; so far I have noticed 160 meters QSOs in the
  1978, 1987 and 2001 operations only."

QSL EH8WDX via EA8ADL. Special callsign used from the Island of Gran
Canaria (AF-004), Canary Islands, during the World Amateur Radio Day
