425 DX NEWS MAGAZINE ---> The January 2012 issue is now available for
download at www.425dxn.org/monthly/index.html. [TNX IZ3EBA]

4W0VB ---> Vlad, UA4WHX is now QRT from Timor Leste. He was QRV as 4W0VB
from the main island of Timor (OC-148) between 11 January and 8 February,

HK0NA ---> Malpelo 2012 went QRT around 17 UTC on 5 February, after
breaking the "tent and generator" DXpedition record set by VP6DX back in
2008 (183,686 QSOs). The preliminary QSO total for HK0NA is 192,089, but
"we expect this number to rise a little as we sort things out". The OQRS at
at www.hk0na.com has been turned on since 6 February; OQRS direct requests
will be processed first, but the cards "won't be ready for some months".
You can request your QSLs one of four ways: OQRS Direct, OQRS Bureau, via
N2OO direct (Bob Schenck, P.O. Box 345, Tuckerton NJ 08087-0345, USA) or
bureau. The HK0NA log is expected to be uploaded to LoTW "about 6 months
after the conclusion of the DXpedition".

IOTA BASH ---> The eighth annual IOTA Bash will be held on 23-24 March in
Boerne, Texas, about 20 miles northwest of San Antonio. The agenda will

nice social programme. Details and registration form are available on the
IREF website (www.islandradio.org). [TNX AB5EB]

QSL 7Q7HB ---> "I have been the QSL manager for quite a few 7Q7 stations in
the past 21 years", Allan G0IAS says. "With the death of Harry (7Q7HB)
there is no one else active now in 7Q that I am the manager for. From 12
December 2012, the anniversary of the death of Harry, I will no longer send
out any QSL cards, for any of the 7Q7 stations I manage. I think that if an
operator does not send for a card, he does not need it". QSL direct only to
Allan Hickman, The Conifers, High Street, Elkesley, Retford, DN22 8AJ,
United Kingdom. The Malawi stations managed by G0IAS are 7Q7AH, 7Q7BW,

raised the profile of Canadian Amateur operations world-wide with thousands
of QSOs with DXCCs covering over six continents".
