Who mentioned the Australian Navy? Not me. It was the good ole USN that
owned that ship. You are confused again!.I thought I made that clear
enough. As it turned out my gear got the message, the US Navy ship did
not. BJORRRK!! as you are fond of saying. I can't see where the remark
regarding frequency v. propagation distance comes in. I have been a radio
operator since 1941 Warren and in the Army they taught us all about that
and why we changed frequency at night. The signals I mentioned this time
were around 5 or 6 megs Can't remember exactly now.
Self promotion? Nah! Truth! Radio gear can't promote itself.
Err pardon me, should that title be Serenade not seranade?
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE
>Now I'll go back to sleep after your story of shameless self promotion
and your antenna being better than the Australian Navy. There is this
thing about frequency vs. propagation distance but I'm sure you don't
want to go there.. bork,
