Hi warren, and all who read our QRM ..hahahahaha
Really, I have not seen one..or perhaps I might if I saw
one..but I do know of the Bendix name.
Still believe that while CW was dropped as a requirment, it
has not dampened the numbers of CW operators that are on HF
today..in fact most I speak to during my hour or so have
dabbled with CW and want to improve...even if it is not
required.

Then I can send you some crappy webcam pictures too <giggle>

The one I saw was in an old vintage movie too, and I was
trying to think it as being 12 Oclock high...but they
had the keys in the planes fastened to the table, so
perhaps it was in a fighter or different type of
aircraft... But I shall ask the local flyboy museum
for help or perhaps one of our veterans at our local
Legion can help.

No...Not named after moi. I found an old key at my friend's
place and we took measurements and went to the machine shop'
where they did the work. It now has a metal base and
all wired and is solid and great for sending...only he
doesn't.
There is a ex-railman living near me who goes to the re-unions
as I told you before. He is even more faster now, according
to one of the hams who is his neighbour. I guess when
last we chatted about this man, he was practicing for one
of these railway picnics and from what I hear they are really
great.
Are you a member ? Weren't you working on the railway?

Thats ok ... I think the drugs my dentist used had me...
as I was asleep all day after being up rather late at
night...yikes...I thought of you when you had your
mouth drilled out by the dentist.
I wish a few brass pounders would drop by sometime but
since I am not in the CW clique on HF...well that in itself
is a sad story.

OK...lets not go passed the 6K limit...I saw Trolley Wallys
reply to ray re-quoting Indy's posting...and oh well I guess
he wouldn't be classed as QRM by our resident "expert" ...
but I liked Indy's posting too ... a great read.
But that brings me to a question ...of...mmmm ...well what
the heck.... not worth asking this one :)
So ... take care... ttfn
Pete
