Hello from Western New York State! The name here is David (N2YEM) and the
location is between Buffalo and Rochester. I have been a amateur radio operator
for 15 years and love every minute of it. I hold a technician class license and
work hf once in a while. My radios are as follows: Realistic htx-202, Alinco
DR-150t (both 2 meters) Realistic htx-100 (10 meters).
I am 44 years old, married with two children. My wife and I are
originally from the Finger Lakes region in Central N.Y. where there is a lot of
camping, fishing, and skiing. Unfortunitly, I am not an outdoors person but had
my interest in electronics and playing guitar in my high school band. After
christian high school I went to bible college that opened the door for me to
travel through the U.S.A. , Canada, and Great Britain as a sound technician.
Today, I still like electronics, play and teach guitar.
Now that you know about me, how about you?, your country? how you got into ham
radio?. I also monitor the w2rcx-r echolink node here in Batavia, N.Y. so
