Problem was the version of AGW that you were using, it was leaky, just
gobbeling up resoures and not releasing them again. It has been reported
by many on here, and the fix was to use an earlier/later version of AGW.

Not sure which digipeating features you were wanting that DOS BPQ didn't
offer. You have to deliberately turn the features on for some of get some
of them to work. If you want to PIPE everything from one port to another
then use (with caution) the PIPETSR utillity written by Roger G4IDE (R.I.P)
back in April 1999. It works very well if one of the ports is not a radio
port but be very careful if you pipe one radio port to another or the same
radio port in case someone else is doing the same thing - this could result
in packet meltdown - the same individual packets could be repeated
ad infinitum taking 100% utilisation of the channel(s).

} for F6FBB/BPQ. Other nodes have Xrouter in one PC with UI-View in another

I want to put everything on one PC so your fix is not a solution for me.
Hence I want BPQ32. I may opt for running a couple of Kantronics KPC-4s
off the existing serial ports or maybe a Kantronics Dataengine.
Early days yet, just running an AX/IP port and a BPQEther port at present.
The BPQEther port offers 13cm Radio access.

You will be well into 2008 by now in ZL land, whilst we in G land are
still in 2007. Happy New Year.
