Hi Andy,

There several ways of doing this, mostly with computer software.

You didn't say what the end medium would be ie internet or television
signal however.....

The simplest way is, if you have a camcorder, set it to single frame and
take a sequence of shots. Most camcorders have this option.

Assuming that 25 frames (shots) is one second of final video you can take
several shots of each picture to adjust the speed of the final animation.

If you obtain a copy of software such as Adobe Photoshop most of the
versions have an animation option which will let you merge the pictures
together to produce a final "gif" type animation which is particularly
suited to the internet.

Higher end video production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro contains
much more in the way of animation functions and will allow you to add
moving titles  and so on to the end result.


Adobe is just one name that springs to mind and is used as an example,
there are several other programs that do the same sort of thing. Google
animation software and see what pops up.
