Hi Peter and all,

The "Union flag" I referred to was known as the 19 Provences flag with
the Union Jack in the upper left quadrant and a coat of arms on the right
containing the flags of the 9 provences. Sorry my fat fingers put a 1 in
front of it but is that the one you referred to? I wouldn't be a bit
surprised in places and times it's displayed under or in place of the
present one like we display the Betsy Ross. I suppose most know each
state has a flag which is displayed under the national on flag poles in
front of state and municipal buildings, once in a while I see the
municipal seal displayed under them but mostly as the seal in the
interior. Ours has a sailboat naturally with the slogan "At the top of
the inland waterway." which BTW puts me on IOTA NJ111. (;->)

Oh, Puxatawny Phil agrees with Jackson's Point Jack but still you don't
need a grounded hog to tell you it's warmer than normal. I don't think
people in Barrow Point AK would agree on global warming though.
