Hi Tony and all,

I wonder if you read my bull where at the bottom I launched into Pi Day and
Einstein. To add a bit, along with some pictures of him illistrating his love
of music showing him playing the violin (classical was his main interest) and
piano, someone posted one showing him playing a Peavy Razer electric guitar.
At forst I thought Einstein was a cool cat until I realized the guitar wasn't
made until after his death. Photoshop strikes again, I looked closely and
there it was, somebody wearing period clothes holding the guitar (not plugged
in) with Einstein's head. BOO! HISS! BOO!

Nothing funny about solar cells and batteries powering the shack when that's
the coming thing already well underway. Ray does it at home and in the
caravan, we recently had a discussion about the gel battery being expensive
so I suggested when it comes replacement time, install a deep cycle marine
battery. Oh drat, no can do, the battery is under the bed so outgassing can
be an explosive proposition. He also told me he's away from cities where APRS
coverage on 2M is spotty at best so next time out it's 30M. He's headed home
now so my last e-mail sang to him, Dave Dudley's Six Days On The Road (and
I'm gonna make it home tonight) and The Beatles' On My Way Home. I'm not an
original writer so steal everything.

"The big consumer of power around my QTH is computers."
You're walking in Ray's footsteps but we already talked about that.

Uh oh, so that leftover cyclone has moved in on you and power is flickering.
The computer is not on the 12V rail but you managed to get the bull in. I
hope power stayed on, soon enough you'll be eating Raspberry Pi and not worry
about that. At least it's summer and you're warm, I'm not all that familiar
with your climate so I hope you don't freeze in July.

And the rest of you take heed, don't be a stick in the mud and complain,
upgrade and be proud. Don't wait for twisting of the arm, it's not easy
working with one arm.

If you want to soar like an eagle, don't flock with turkeys.
