Subject: How many BBS's Worldwide?

I've received around a dozen bulletins today, most of them machine-generated. Some (8 of them) were destined for anither country entirely. A far cry from the old days when we struggled to cope with the volume of bulls.

It made me wonder just how many users are left. And that got me wondering how
many BBS's are left? Just as a matter of interest, has anyone ever counted
them?

73, Paula

(I messed up the first few lines, but now I've remembered to put in some
carriage returns. All I've got to do now is remember how to terminate a
message....)
