Hello Ian, and yeah it's fun, and YES sir..I still use GMT, and
when I looked for you on Skype about the same time, as posting
this one, you were near to 2013 and I assumed you were out
celebrating.

I was on Skype with family in BRASIL as the time arrived there,
as well watching the fireworks from RIO which were a long session
and ...hmmm ,I thought the better of all shown on the news from
around the world.

All the fun shows from there are mostlikely censored, or they are
all dead or very rich after being lured to the USA. I remember
David Frost, and well he had a short career in the USA, but
I have some favourites you might be thinking of and well they'll
always stick with us Ian, as you and I remember them and we have
a laugh.

Ours here were a boring affair. Just as broing as watching US TV
where they tried to drag on a theme that someone started , who is
long gone and dead. Not the same. The flake PM of CANADA was on
then bong bong and different time with a countdown, and it was 2013
via whatever the means to excite and bored crowd.

Those firworks were mostlikely leftovers from Quye Fawkes night <g>
or kept just to give the police TV cameras something to do that
night.

I saw news on new traditions around the globe, so hope they enjoyed
bring in 2013. Maria and I toasted it in., Had a midnight meal
watched some 2013 TV and then called it a night, as we had guests
coming over next day. Still getting over the dinner yesterday.

You know you are welcome Ian. Maria said to give you her best
wishs, "Feliz Bono Novo 2013" and sooner or later the pains will
be gone, and my horrible nagging cold gone too...thanks Ian.

Maria leaves for BRASIL soon, so she gets tropical WX <g>...

I am going to spend this time she is away, inside due to injury
making slides of our family pictures from the 1900s to present,
and if not watering theplants every Wedesday <once a week> well
I'll be working on my Landline BBS that has a problem in the
MAIL program. It zips it up into a QWKmail bundle but instead of
coming back from the mail program it hangs up, which it never
did. I wonder if there is a limit on how many times I can reinstall
the program? I have another BBS program that I am using right now
so my users are not so happy. hahahaha....

See you online sooner or later.... 73 Pete VE3WBZ
