Of course I did! At 10 metres there's not a great deal of difference
between the lengths of the elements anyway. The first thing I noticed was
the long radiator which should have been shorter than the reflector but
was not. Having gone that far the easiest way of finding the discrepancies
was to complete the assembly and then swap over the pieces that were in
the wrong place. Not a big deal. Reading the book? It consisted of a
duplicated sheet with a rough diagram of the assembled beast and the
measurements written in. Not much help except for the measurements when
the transferred marking did not conform to the diagrams and the
description in the paperwork.
Incidentally I have on my towner a 22 el. 70 cm yagi, a 17 el. 144 yagi,
and a five el. 6 metre yagi. I have just removed a three el. triband for
14,21 and 28. I had a reason for that. So I do know what I am doing when
assembling beams. Been at it mostly with home brew beams for 56 years.
Put the frog in the river; you'll have the greenies after you with an
antenna pole.

You never cease to amaze me, is somebody out to get you or didn't you
noticed the lopsided elements the moment you assembled the first one?
