Improved G5RV

The G5RV is a well known multiband doublet antenna.
It was improved by ZS6BKW (now G0GSF), who optimised the
dimensions slightly to obtain a perfect match on 5 bands, where
no antenna tuner is required.
These bands are: 40-20-17-12-10 meters.

The dimensions of this antenna are:
Length = 27.5 m ( 2 x 13.75 m), fed in the center by a
400 Ohm feederline of 12.2 m length.
Then follows the 50 ohm coax to the transceiver.
Between the feeder and the coax, a 1:1 current balun is to
be used (or a balanced antenna tuner).

The well known antenna expert L.B.Cebic W4RNL commented
this antenna:
 "This is the best result that has been achieved of any of the
systems that has come to my attention."
