Testing with LVB Tracker with the 0.9 eprom, Yaesu G5400B and FT-847 using

HDR 4.1 build 1989 beta
HRD Sat Track 4.1 Tech Preview II build 1989
HRD Rotator 4.1 build 2026 beta
HRD Log 4.1 build 2121 beta

Marv's description below is okay, however, while "Orbitron" is on DDE menu
it is not selectable on my installation so I use Nova and must start the
"Satellite Tracking DDE Server" from the HRD Windows Menu before selecting
"Track DDE"

HI All,

Jim, N8OQ worte on the above link :-

--------------------------------------

Greetings,

I only recorded 1-minute of the RTTY from last evenings pass but was
able to
decode channel 11 through 16 from it to augment David's (VK5DG)
decodes. Here
is what I was able to decode using reverse,45,85 parameters. I also
used the
1974 AMSAT J. final parameters and equations conversions. Great job
to David
for finding the 70-cm beacon on and decoding so much!

Ch Value Ok? Description Converted Value
-------------------------------------------------------
11 734 Y Battery volts 13.74v
12 326 N Half battery volts 3.41v
13 695 Y Regulated volts 23.63v
14 602 Y 10v Reg volts 9.38v
15 937 Y 9v reg volts 9.37v
16 422 Y Ch reg1 volts 6.53v
-------------------------------------------------------
Jim, N8OQ

The Question:

What was the ( equations conversions )
Jim used with AO-7 RTTY data ?????

Has anyone used the Satellite Ham Radio (HamSat) iphone app? Or any
other ham related iphone apps for that matter? Which if any would you
recommend?

Thanks,
Josh

Hi!

Mark WA8SME asked me to post this to the -BB. He is focusing on
satellite telemetry for his Teacher's Institute this summer. With
AO-7 transmitting telemetry in RTTY, Mark is interested in getting
the equations or other information that can be used to interpret
the data. He - and I - have found the spreadsheet used with the CW
telemetry, but we have not seen anything similar for the RTTY
telemetry. Is there a separate spreadsheet or other document that
can help with the RTTY telemetry? Or does the CW telemetry
spreadsheet work for the RTTY telemetry?

If possible, please reply directly to Mark. His e-mail address
is mspencer -at- arrl.org

Thanks in advance, and 73!

That was my experience as well Gary. I was using a FT-817ND in SSB for the
uplink and a FT-470 HT for the downlink.

Hi Dave,
Also listened and nothing heard so you confirmed that I did not have
equipment problems after the strong winds that we had.
Earlier last month it was mentioned that the Delfi team might be carrying
work or further investigations
so hopefully this was case.

I just made contact with Leo, W7JPI via the ISS cross-band repeater on the
1400 UTC pass. I've made contacts and exchanged QSLs with him before, but
never via the ISS. Does one usually exchange QSLs when contact is made via a
different satellite? I couln't find an email address for Leo to ask him
directly.
