Hi All:
We are considering using SatPC32 to track sats and operate a station
remotely. Is there a way to have to program automatically switch the
frequency and rotor tracking as various satellites become visible? I would
like to track a list of 5-6 satellites, and have the software tune the
radio, etc without having to manually select them. I think it can't be done
the way we want, but was wondering if someone with more experience with the
program has any thoughts.
Thanks!
Scott/WB2UZR

Scott,
Take a look in the manual for information on setting the priority for
tracking multiple satellites. Look for "Prior.SQF" and that general area.
Also, go to the Aux Files and see the comments in the PRIOR.SQF file. You
should be able to do what you have described.

I believe that the Iridium satellite should have stopped and yielded to the
Russian satellite under north-american driving rules, the vehicle on the
left must yield to the vehicle on the right at an uncontrolled
intersection... hi
VE6PWN
........ the satellites got PWNed

I noticed the ISS repeater was on during the last pass and did work a couple
of contacts before it went over the horizon.

What speed do you think would be max survivable speed for a landing on
the moon for a robot, or comm system?
How fast could something hit and survive?
