I'm glad to hear someone copied my image! I was juggling an Arrow Antenna, 2
FT-60's, and a laptop (which was on the side of a table outside) all while
trying to keep the receiving FT-60 close to the computer mic; and when
transmitting, key up the computer and the HT hand mic at the same time while
holding the mic next to the computer speaker.
It did seem however that there were several images sent that were WAY too
quite to receive. I did my best to get mine in loud, but I know Sebastion's
(W4AS) sent an image that had audio too low to decode.
Very interesting mode, especially for us with the hand held stations.

Aloha all
Assuming I am not interfering with anyone,
I am going to attempt a QRP SSTV transmission
from Hawaii at 0348Z today (01/28/09 UTC date)
via AO-51. Several west coast states should
be within the footprint. I will be using a Yaesu-
VX-7R with a homebrew Yagi. Please feel free
to listen in and I'd appreciate any feedback
(good or bad!)

I had a pretty high pass early last night and heard nothing here in FN13....
Left the radio on and around 2100-2130 local heard a bunch of packets, some
strong, some not. Not sure whether anyone was digipeating or not, cound not
get UISS up and running fast enough before LOS.

I heard some packets, but couldn't decode anything.
Also don't see any current beacons via findu .. ..
Signal seemed pretty weak.
Any other reports ? Maybe I just got out of practice .?.
Thanks /;^)

All,
21:08 UTC
I had only a 8 degr elevation pass first and used both TLE for analyzing the
doppler frequency.
Well, it seems my assumption was right - seems we have to change the TLE for
PRISM to OBJECT J.
22:41 UTC
After this second pass with higher elevation (32 degr) I am sure that PRISM
is OBJECT J.
You can see the graphs here in my SatBlog: http://www.dk3wn.info/p/?p=2407

If it cost $4,000,000 to launch a HEO we would have put one, possibly
two of them up since AO-40. We would at least be building the second.
Also $500,000 will barely cover the cost of the solar panels. It will
not cover the cost of the motor.

Although Space-Track public relations are issued as the point,
OBJECT Number of PRISM 'B', not 'J', was shown with some proof.
It seems to be better to think that TLE is not fluid decision
still more.
