Dear radio amateurs,
I want to notify that finally after a long brake (mainly due to ground
station maintenance works) we have switched the transponder on again. Duty
cycle will depend on battery voltage level. All other telemetry is inactive
to save power. We hope the signal should be even better now as the
satellite is descending steadily to 300 km and wish you all good QSOs! Next
update in 24 hours.
73,
Laurynas

Hello to all
I just tried a contact for my FD record on the 1335z LO-78 pass. The bird
was sounding very good but no one was there during all the pass.
I will be on the next 1505z pass.
Catch you on the birds!

I was just listing on a pass of one of the satellites the other day.
One station was calling a CQ and up the band there was someone answering.
they never did make contact. I was trying to think it out why.
Maybe no computer control. Maybe wrong data entered for the sat.

Hi Folks,
The FUNcube/AO-73 mode has been changed as at 1944 UTC to Auto Eclipse
mode (ie transponder on when sat is in darkness, full power beacon when in
daylight)
Please note that it will NOT be commanded next Friday into full time
eclipse mode. There is an important demonstration for school children at the
Royal Institutes' London Faraday Lecture theatre next Sat, 5 July, so the
sat will be in full power beacon mode when in sunlight all over that
weekend.

Thank you for the FD QSOs to all we worked.
13 QSOs on FO 29
1 QSO VO 52
There were great passes on AO 7 but that is when we had our program problems.
K4AMG was the GOTA Station for the Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service, W4CAR
Hope everyone had a great FD.

Congrats to Stefan and Clint on the ISS Field Day contacts!
I heard Reid make a couple of contacts, but was too busy trying to make the
CAT control in SatPC32 work with my 24 year old IC-970H. It works now
although with some irritating limitations on the CAT side. The rotor
control side works fine. Rather than wasting several hours, I should have
just plugged it into my MacBookPro and fired up MacDoppler. It took all of
5 minutes to get up and running with full CAT control and then make a Field
Day contact on AO-73.
So on to the next ?challenge? ? My AO-16 era LL Grace DSP-93 isn?t quite
current anymore.
Any recommendations on current equipment and/or software to decode 1k2 BPSK
telemetry, and 9600 FSK etc. ??
