Better yet Bob,,
If they can do it on HF there is absolutely no reason why it could not
be done for the transponders passband.
Use a SDR type of radio.
If they can actually record like CQWW actually record every band for the
full 48 hours. And they can then forever actually look up an exact QSO
say station violated the rules at 13:45 zulu in 20 meters at 10.027.776
they can actually que up that exact time in the contest and listen in
live just like it is really happening.
I know a local VHF/UHF station that uses SDR now, and like during the
recent June VHF/UHF contest, it isn'ty like the old days where you have
to tune the whole bands looking for signals. He has on his monitor(s)
All the bands 6, 2 220, 440, 902, 1296.. laid out in a spectrum monitor
mode and all he has to do is keep an eye open for a pip of a signal on
the passbands and click on it and work them.
So he can see all the band on every band, so there is no reason why what
they do on HF can't be done on the birds passband. sEE THE WHOLE THING
AND RECORD IT LIVE TO BE ABLE TO BE PLAYED JUST LIKE IT'S HAPPENING LIVE
FOREVER MORE.
OOps caplock sorry wasn't yelling..

Excellent point, Drew -- SDR's can visualize and record the entire
passband. I posted screenshots of the AO-07 and VO-52 passbands
during field day last year, they're on my blog at:
http://kb5wia.blogspot.com/2013/06/arrl-field-day-2013-satellite-fun.html
Have fun!

Hi Nico,
The NCBR1 stood by QB50p1 in the QuadPack in Platform A of DNEPR.?
And the object Q is currently very close to QB50p1 !
NCBR1 is certainly the object Q!?
Congratulations!?

W1AW/9 operations are going well from EN50 in Central Illinois. There is
another pass from FO-29 tonight, and I will also try to listen for SO-50
later.
Tomorrow(Friday) there will be no W1AW/9 activity during the morning passes,
but W1AW/9 should be on some of the afternoon/evening passes. I'm happy to
log duplicate calls on different satellites or the same satellite.
FYI - With Field Day coming up, some stations are operating portable.
Stations signing simply 'portable' will be logged as K9XYZ/P and stations
signing 'portable 8' will be logged as K9XYZ/8. If you submit your log to
LOTW or request a QSL from ARRL it will need to match. Email me if you need
to confirm how your portable QSO was logged.

found an old question from you in internet (2004).
I have similar problems (with GS232B and G-5500).
Could you solve the problem?

Hello everyone,
Tom, W5KUB will have his Webcast during Field Day 2014 from Memphis,
Tennessee EM55.
Tom has asked the EM55 satellite community for our participation and we
have gladly agreed to be there and help provide content for his webcast.
/*Here is you chance to to see some of the guys that operate from EM55,
WA4NVM, WA4HFN, KD4NOQ and of course, yours truly, K4FEG.*//*
*/
Tom really want to get the input from the satellite operators and we
hope to be able to help him out.
Tom, W5KUB's planned webcast from the Memphis site will be between
1700UTC and 2300UTC on Saturday so check in to see what is happening
from EM55.
I hope to "see" some of you on Tom's webcast this weekend.
