I listened to the signal on CW between 1957 and 1959 today here in
DO33. It was somewhat fainter than the previous pass with some more
background noise.
Towards the end of the window, I switched over to FM and heard it for
a few seconds as well before I lost the signal behind my apartment
building.
The signal faded once in a while, though that might have been because
I was tuning my FT-817 manually and may not have kept up with the
Doppler shift.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Erich (DK1TB, re:
SatPC32)
contacted me off the list and offered to modify and provide
me
with a SatPC32.exe that would not try to poll the rig, but
push only i.e. work with my
old, one-way-CAT FT-847. I overlaid the new executable and
was
able to fully control the rig through the SatPC32 and
Wisat32 program UIs.
I just wanted to publicly thank Erich for his unsolicited
help.
Ich bin Ihnen sehr dankbar!
If you are in the same boat, please contact Erich off-list
for the executable.

Dear radio amateurs,
Thank You very much for your reports. Reset has been confirmed, during the
6:30 UTC pass over Lithuania we have switched on to safe mode to
re-charge the battery as the voltage has dropped down quite
substantially. All radio transmissions are currently stopped.

Jerry,
We were making changes in the server. After the change, we verified that
things were working with
SatPC32. However, something isn't working now. We will take a look at what
has gone wrong.
Apologies for the inconvenience. For now, please use the following URL:

Thank you for reporting this, Jerry. As Alan said, we made a test to
determine that the "redirection" change I implemented a couple of days ago
would not affect SatPC32 users, but it was apparently not a thorough test.
I reverted the change, so you and other SatPC32 users will not be
inconvenienced further.
If anyone notices new problems crop up please cc: webmaster@xxxxx.xxx for
fastest resolution. I just happened to scan amsat-bb during my lunch
break today and saw this. I am implementing some back room
infrastructure upgrades, so there may be other hiccups observed over the
next few weeks.

Can another MacDoppler user verify that they were able/not able to download
the Keps after this issue came up? I THINK mine did not but wasn?t paying
enough attention to the voice announcement from MD that any data was
actually updated.

I am posting this for local friend, as it is of interest to the satellite
community:
For Sale- Yaesu FT-847, S/N 91250171. This is a very clean radio from a
non-smoking environment. I
do not have the original box but I do have the power cord, microphone,
amplifier keying cable and
manual. It was used for satellite operations, but has served as a spare for
the past six years. Can
deliver to Dayton next week on Friday or until noon on Saturday. Price is
$1050 plus shipping and I
will split the shipping costs.
Contact Jack Cox, KA4OTB at 615.715.9626 or ka4otb@xxxxxxx.xxx.
We have verified that it has the fully bidirectional CAT. If interested,
please contact Jack DIRECTLY
for more information.

Dino,
Look at the kepler.dat file in the Finder.
It resides in the MacDoppler data folder.
You can look at the "modified" date in the Finder, or open the file in
TextEdit...
the date should show at the top of the opened document.
The above instructions are for MacDopplerPro_X2.9.3.
If you are using a different version, you could possibly find the kepler.dat
file in another location.
