Aloha
My Yaesu G 5400B elevation rotor is seized, but the motors seem fine. Any
suggestions on where to
get it fixed and how much it'll cost. Yep, I realize Yaesu may be my
primary option. Just looking for
an array of options (if possible).

Jeff,
It is still in it's normal day/night mode. They are reviewing the data from
yesterday's test and will decide if they can put it in full time transponder
mode on the weekends based on that data.

The Amazon Smile program only works if you use the smile.amazon version
of their website (as opposed to the WWW.amazon version). But if you
follow a link you find on the net, it will probably take you to the WWW
version. You can manually edit the location bar to change to the smiley
version of the link, but here is a useful snippet to do it for you:
javascript:void(location.href=window.location.protocol+"//"+
window.location.host.replace(/^www\.amazon\./,"smile.amazon.")+
window.location.pathname)
Create a bookmark which links to this piece of JS (all one line, no
spaces, please). If you find yourself on an unsmiling Amazon page,
click the bookmark, and the smiling version of the page opens in it's place.
Seems to work fine on my Firefox browser. Other browsers may require
tweeking, but the principle should still be valid.

I was very active in the 70's and 80's on the Birds.
And now am attempting to try to help some new folk get into them.
A local Newbie has been trying AO-51 with no luck, So I volunteered to
see what he is doing and where he needs help.
BUT........ And there always seems to be a "BUT" isnt there?
I am getting HUGE discreptencies on Pass times. My location is at,
Latitude: *43.61?*
Longitude: *-90.08?*
Local time zone: GMT -5
And every source I have tried does not give the same time for my next
available Pass.
Orbitron,
Amsat web page, http://www.n2yo.com/passes/?s=28375
And Heavens Above.
All three aren't even close to each other. My location is dead on with
all of them. So I am confused as to why each source is sooo different
from the other.

Anyone?

You want a time lord. To work AO51 you'll need to travel back to about
2011...

AO-51 has been non-operational for over 2 years. I'd guess pass times
are off because some of the Keps databases are not updated with
non-operational satellites.
SO-50 is the only operational FM satellite.

Joe, AO-51 has not been on the air for over 2 years. My last contact via
AO-51 in my log is November 7, 2011.

Joe,
Full time active birds are SO-50 (FM only) and FO-29 & VO-50 (SSB/CW)
AO-73 right now transponder is only active when satellite is in eclipse
(night-time only) (SSB/CW)
AO-7 is active in the sun and alternates days between mode A and Mode B.
Today it is in mode B
http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/satellites/sat_summary/ao7.php
Checking active birds and AO-7 mode is found by going to AMSAT:
http://ww2.amsat.org/
then Clicking "SATELLITE INFO >> Current Status"
