Not MAC or PC but Android GPS application for free on Play Store,
HamGPS, will give you Lat/Lon and Grid automatically.

George,
I typically rely on a single website when planning my rover adventures:
http://qthlocator.free.fr/index.php
Originally F6FVY put it together but it was later updated F5UKW. You
can enter your home six digit grid and then work you way down to the
areas you will be visiting. It utilizes the Google API which means
you can look at map or satellite views.
On my phone (Android) I utilize an application called LocatorDROID to
tell me my 6 digit grid plus heading and distance to other grids.
The QRZ.com GridMapper (www.qrz.com/gridmapper) will convert LAT/LON
to grid but I still prefer the QTHLocator site referenced above.

Damon, just how much do you donate to AMSAT-NA annually? And how much?
is dedicated to them in your will?
I just need to know if I should continue to participate in a fun,
space-related thread?
where we are discussing the history of music and the history of space
exploration?
and music playlists for amateur radio-related events - or if my posts might
negatively?
affect the financial health and well-being of any AMSAT chapter.

God above, who thinks these names up?
Anyway, Amazon Smile, with AMSAT as the recipient. It'll probably only
result in a buck or two coming your way, but if enough people sign up,
you might get $50, which apparently is all it costs to build a hamsat!

I am a Prime member, and also a merchant on Amazon, and did not know about
this program!?
I donate a portion of eBay proceeds ... but THANK YOU for the heads up on
Amazon Smile!
I just entered "AMSAT" (without the quotation marks) and it found AMSAT-NA ...

Amazon will donate 0.5% of your AmazonSmile?

Wow. I had never heard of that before.
Living in the city with no car, I'm a frequent Amazon shopper. Already
signed up and selected AMSAT.
Might net them a couple of bucks a year from me, but that's better than zero.

By the way, you do have to use the URL smile.amazon.com when shopping
or else your purchase won't count. Amazon doesn't log you into Amazon
Smile automatically.

Something tells me a while back it was made explicitly clear that the
AMSAT-BB did not reflect the views and agenda of AMSAT-NA. Something to

Yes, but I keep an Amazon tab open in my browser at all times, and I've
changed that to smile. instead of www. so all links followed from there
will be smiley. Also, bookmarks have been altered to suit.
It only remains to be seen what percentage of items are smiley.
Encouraging to discover that of nearly 100 items in my wishlist, in a
broad range of categories, the vast majority were smiley. (Only 4 items
were not.) Smiley items include Amazon Prime items as well as items
shipped from and sold by non-Amazon vendors.

Thanks much for all the thoughtful comments.
The fact that the sat pings the plane is very revealing because it means
that the timing of the return transmission from the plane does not have to
be independently timed. That makes the calculation of distance more credible.
Let?s hope that one day we?ll have a bird up that high, i.e. 22,000 mi.

George,
Check this one out. It gives you a map of a selected Grid Square
or the Grid of a Callsign or the Grid of an Address. Really cool!!

I'm planning a trip this spring and plan on working some of the hard grids
west of me. I'm in EM59.
I'm looking for a program that I can figure the grids both ways. Type in my
longitude and latitude and get the grid. Type in the grid and know the
longitude and latitude of that grid. If anyone knows of a program it sure
would help me. I have a Mac or PC would prefer using the Mac.
