This afternoon, Jack, KF5LOQ, will do a school demo during the SO-50 pass
at 2026 UTC. This is a very low pass - 6 degree - in EM30. Please watch out
for him and give him a contact. Or, give him a little space to make the
contacts.

This demo is for the fifth graders at St Theodore-Holy Family School in Lake
Charles LA and a part of a presentation designed to drum up interest in ham
radio with these students.

If I hear y'all responding to him, I'll sit back and let y'all. Maybe
mention your town or state instead of grid.

Many thanks for your help in promoting ham radio to these kids.

Real quick also -- can someone verify that the N2YO applet showing on
the warehouse.funcube.org.uk site is reporting accurate positions?

I've been running the downloaded keps and my home station has been
tracking / decoding just fine, along with nice S9+ audio with AOS and
LOS matching expected as per the published keps ... but the N2YO app
seems to show the FUNcube in a totally different location. It's been
looking to me like the keps used on the app might not be correct.

CAUTION - This is a blatant advertisement for AMSAT-NA ...

Would a couple of you please go to my home page and let me know
if the top banner for AMSAT-NA "looks" and behaves OK?

I need to decide whether or not to subscribe to this banner
maker ... and if it doesn't work for you, then I'll go elsewhere.

I have tried it under Mac/Safari and Mac/Firefox already.

Instead of clogging up this AMSAT-BB with replies, I wouldn't
mind of you just let me know at k6lcs@xxxxxxx.xxxx (that's
K 6 L C S at ham DASH/HYPHEN sat DOT info ).

Thank you!
