Hi Hector,
When you are able to get to a direct internet link then simply run the
dashboard from the .funcubebin file that you may have recorded during the
session.
This will the upload the file to the warehouse and your call should then be
seen on the warehouse upload page...maybe 10 seconds later
hope this helps
73 and good luck

Hello to all!
FUNcube-1 was heard at the experimenting station in the University of
Cienfuegos during the two first orbits over our country. We were running the
Dashboard with a FUNcube Dongle Pro +, and an ARROW II antenna.
We decoded telemetry successfully; the last frame of data decoded was
sequence No. : 755. Unfortunately, we are not able to upload data to the
Warehouse; we are connected to Internet using a proxy and the Dashboard
cannot send data through it.
Is it there any way to upload captured data manually?
Congratulations AMSAT-UK and all the FUNcube-1 team!
73!
Hector, CO6CBF

Many thanks Christian.
Now a period of quiet for us as the satellite heads west for several passes
over the USA.
Data has been arriving at our 'warehouse' all morning. Around 15 Countries
so far. It is really reassuring to see all the satellites parameters
updating even when it's on the other side of the planet.

I realize that AMSAT is "completely different" (a quote from W.W.) but here
goes. The State Historical Society here needed people to run it so who
better equipped than history professors from the university. After all who
knows more about history than history professors. I am sure they had a vast
knowledge of the dates for all historic events. They are just the type of
people to handle fund raising and public relations. Their vast knowledge of
history certainly qualifies them in these areas.
After financial problems set in they hired someone who was not a history
professor but someone with a background in administration and management.
You can well imagine how this sat with the profs as they looked with
distain from their ivory tower down at this guy who probably did not even
know the date of the battle of Hastings.
Much to everyone's surprise under his leadership it worked out and they
got the organization back on track.
What qualifications are needed for a fund raiser and PR in AMSAT. The
person had better have a ham license. They had better know how to phase a
pair of crossed yagis. They had better be able to solder. It is important
that they have worked at least a few hundred grid squares and most
importantly they had better know how to edit an Doppler.sqf file. If they
can do those things they certainly can handle the "simple" task of PR and
fund raising because after all AMSAT is completely different.

Folks
What mode should your RX be in to receive the 9600 baud FSK telemetry
downlink signals. USB, FM ??
I've gotten several different answers, does it vary by SAT ?
Thanks

This is all facetious, correct? Because, for example, if my wife applied for
this position (she is not available), you wouldn't hire her because she
meets none of those requirements. Yet in reality, she would be the absolute
finest asset AMSAT may have ever hired. She is a public relations
professional extraordinaire. While at UCRiverside, she got those professors
on campus mentioned and cited in the planet's most prestigious magazines and
newspapers. And her Rolodex is extraordinary ... Oh, and her work on and
submission of my ARISS contact won a prestigious award from the Public
Relations Society of America at their annual banquet last year ...
Anyway, what I mean to say is that this is not an election of a club
president. This position needs someone with media savvy, professionalism and
dedication ... Handling a soldering iron as a prerequisite is silly.
Handling the editors at The New York Times and Scientific American magazine
is what we need.

Hi Hector,
When you are able to get to a direct internet link then simply run the
dashboard from the .funcubebin file that you may have recorded during the
session.
This will the upload the file to the warehouse and your call should then be

hope this helps

Hello Vince
The FUNcube Dongle Pro plus makes a very nice satellite receiver with the
SDR ? Radio Console V2. It allows an advanced analysis of all signals
received in the 96 kHz Dongle?s bandwidth and you can record all the
bandwidth as an IQ recording and playback it later.
You can use an outdoor antenna with preamplifier. In fact, the FUNcube
Dongles can power a preamplifier through the feed cable. If you want to use
a shorted circuit antenna without preamplifier like a Slim Jim, you should
turn off the bia in the software.

Just looking at sdr, might order one of these. What is
the most popular windows software to use with it if you
just what to use it as a receiver? LSB USB & digital.
Does Spectravue allow you to do all that?
Tnx, KB7ADL

Adding to that Clint, a good handle on social media would be a big plus too.
