The payload is on its way, but downlink from the launch vehicle ended
due to a scheduled LOS by a tracking station. The cubesats will be
deployed a few minutes from now.

Np on the bandwidth here. Rather fun to hear about these developments And it's
exciting to see the functionality of a distributed ground network for a ham
sat take shape. Keep it up to all involved in FunCube-1!

Don't know if you saw this but it's pretty neat... Everyday I learn
something new about the Flex and PowerSDR....

Bob (GM4CAQ) wrote :
>and no audio level control on the sidetone!.

Bob .. the sidetone level (same as Monitor level for SSB .. useful when
using a double-sided headset) can be modified in
two different ways.

If you got to SETUP/Transmit? ? ? You will see something labelled "Monitor
TX AF" that is what you want to change.
Playing with it this morning I discovered another way to do this that was
previously unknown to me.

If you transmit a carrier in CW (or hit the TUNE button)? The AF control
near the upper left of the PSDR display
switches to control the Monitor (i.e. Sidetone)? level. So as long as you
are transmitting a carrier, varying the AF level
changes the sidetone volume level.?

Also note that? the DRIVE control behaves in a similar manner.?
Normally adjusting DRIVE controls the % of? RF Power out, but if you adjust
this after clicking on TUNE
then you are setting the DRIVE level just for TUNE. This is a neat feature
that allows you to reduce
your output power while tuning your antenna, without messing with normal
DRIVE setting.

I hope that this helps. Best of luck with your 1500.

Worked Yuri tonight at 0202 pass of FO-29. He was in the NA footprint with
good signals until about 0212. His location was FK11.
It was a relatively quiet pass, except for the stations calling Yuri, which
was not too crowded.

Did this launch have any of the linear sat's on it or are they all just
beacons and telemetry ?

No.

Thursday's launch from Russia has FUNCube-1 (U/V linear), Delfi-n3xt
(U/V linear), and Triton-1 (U/V FM-to-DSB) on it. I think those are
the only three on the launch with amateur transponders on them. The
latter two are planned to be opened to amateur communications when
their primary missions are completed and FUNCube-1 is planned be
opened to amateur communications when in eclipse once the satellite
starts normal operation (hopefully 1-2 weeks after launch).

Hi all,

I heard ArduSat-1 CW (FM-modulated 800Hz tone) on 437.000 MHz during the
pass 01:51 - 02:00 UTC, decoded as following:

WG9XFC-1 D16

WG9XFC-1 A7.27

ArduSat-X and PicoDragon were not heard.
