One more thing then Dave, the Dashboard won't let me select another
folder for Files (in the File - Settings...)
Select folder... works to get me where I want to go but it does not
return the selected folder.

Actually, they're not duplex, they're SPLIT, like working a DX station on HF
where you transmit UP from the DX station's frequency. The uplink and
downlink frequencies for the ISS are different, and because they are in the
same band, require a special version of SatPC32 (SatPC32ISS) to control the
two frequencies.

Can someone remind me of what I need to do to get Funcube 1 on to SatPC32.
Obviously there is no keps for this bird on the normal downloads yet. I
have the temporary 2-line keps from Amsat UK and frequencies. Doppler.SQF
should be easy but where do I put the keps? V12.8c has a separate list for
cubesats so will this affect where I put the keps? Will I need to add/alter
AmsatNames.txt? I just want to test the system ready for next week.

Dick,

For testing, you can place the provisional Keps in whatever list of Keps you
wish. I pasted them at
the bottom of the tle-new.txt file. Just be aware that if you update this
file automatically, you
will lose them. Then add the satellite to the group of your choice as usual.

Here are some DOPPLER.SQF values:

FUNCUBE-1,145934.0,,USB,,,, TLM
FUNCUBE-1,145960.0,435140.0,USB,LSB,REV,,, Transponder

You won't need to change the AMSATNAMES.TXT. After launch, the way it is
listed may change and
require adding it in.

Happy Birthday to AO-7! Launched on 11/15/1974 from Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Continued congratulations to all those involved in the design,
building, launch, and operations of this satellite. It's an amazing
achievement that, other than the batteries, most of the circuitry
continues to function normally 39 years after launch. Here's to
hopefully many more years of service to the amateur community!

For more information about the lead-up to and the launch of AO-7, as
well as the first years of operation, see the 1974-1981 AMSAT
Newsletters on KA9Q's website:

N4HY has a wonderful gallery of photos from the construction and
launch of AO-7 on his Smugmug page:

Man, I've talked to several "participants" of next week's Dnepr
launch ... but cannot find a live feed source for the launch
anywhere ...

Anyone have a source for live video for it?
